Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

4th of July

Mom, Dad, my cousin Lexie, Aunt Angel, Uncle Phillip, and I went to St. Catherine's Island. We went in Uncle Phillip's boat. It was about a ten minute ride. Lexie and I had to wear life jackets. When we were at the beach, Lexie and I would jump off the boat. When we went to the other side of the island, we got stuck in the mud and dad had to push the boat out. Well, that's it for now. Cruise Time!!!

From June 22nd-26th, I went on my 3rd cruise!!! We went to Nassau, Bahamas. We were supposed to go to Coco Cay, a private beach in the Bahamas, but the weather was bad one day and the other day the sea was choppy, so we were at sea for two days. We were on a Royal Caribbean ship called the Monarch of the Seas. The activities on the cruise were fun. There was a Sudoku challange, and I came in second place. My time was three minutes and two seconds. Another thing that I enjoyed was Adventure Ocean. It's a kid's program for different age groups. The food was AMAZING. People from all over the world work and cook there. They have different buffets for each meal. They even have an ice cream machine! It had vanilla, chocolate, and swirl flavors (chocolate and vanilla swirled). Well I am off to bed now. Bye!

Marine Bio Camp

June 15th-19th I had Marine Biology Camp. On Monday, we went to the labs where we looked through microscopes, saw animals in the aquarium eat, and dissected a squid. On Tuesday, we went to the salt marsh and did a forest walk/scavenger hunt. On Wednesday, we went to the beach at Tybee Island. We really wanted to see Miley Cyrus, but we did not get a chance to since we were on the Northside of the island and she was on the Southside. On Thursday, we went on a trawl. A trawl is like a boat that travels through the river. Finally on Friday, we had a t-shirt signing, paper plate awards, crabbing, and we did a fish tax. Well, that's it for now...Bye and Go DAWGS!!!! (Did I mention that this was a UGA Marine Biology Camp?) ;-)

Dance Recital

On May 24th, I had my fifth dance recital. We did three dances, tap, jazz, and lyrical. Before the show, my mom put lots of makeup on me. I wore eyeshadow, lipstick, blush, and eyeliner. The show was three hours long. Instead of trophies, we got medals at the end. This summer I'm going to compete in Myrtle Beach at dance camp. I can't wait! That's all for now.

Award Ceremony

I had an awards ceremony today. I got five awards. They were the Good Citizenship Award, Jump Rope for Heart, Honor Roll all year, Most AR Points in 3rd grade, and earning Merit in Media Festival. My mom came, and I got a lot of pictures with my friends and my teacher. Only two days left!!!!!

Last Week of School !!!

It's finally the last week of school! We are partying all week long, but of course, we have to do some work too. One day we get to sit anywhere we want, another day we are having a movie day, an outside day, a day when we bring a board game, and finally a party day! I'm so excited, and I wonder who my teacher will be next year. I'm going to be in the fourth grade. The last day of school (May 22nd) is also my best friend Uyen-Vy's birthday. May 20th is my best friend Emme's birthday. School is almost over. I think I can handle these last few days. :-)

My mom drives me crazy always taking my picture. Yesterday she took a ton of pictures when we were suppose to be working on my project. Here is one picture she told me to post. The rest are on her Facebook page. I hate it when she posts pictures of me.

My Birthday

I recently turned 9!! My best friend Emme had a sleepover with me. She gave me a diamond necklace which had a D on it. It came with matching earrings. That was during the weekend before my birthday. On my actual birthday, Mom, Dad, my cousin Lexie, Uncle Phillip, Aunt Angel, Grandma Tena, Nana, Grandpa, Kalyn, Grandma Sharon, Grandma Sara and I ate together at Applebee's. My mom and dad got me a Wii Fit, a monogrammed Tervis Tumbler travel cup, three twelve ounce TT cups that had dolphins, a ladybug, and a pink Georgia Bulldog G, but my favorite gift was a Kit Kittredge American Girl doll. I am such a lucky girl.

Athens, Georgia

In March, I went to Athens, Ga. It was so amazingly fun. We saw Sanford Stadium, Stegman Colisseum, in fact our hotel was across from it. We left on a Thursday afternoon (I got signed out) and arrived at about 7:10. On Friday at noon, I saw the UGA gymnasts practice for a competition in California. They were great. My favorite was the uneven bars.
Suzanne Yoculan is the coach. She smiled at me a lot and waved. It was a private practice, but we saw it from an observatory balcony in the gym. Only five people were allowed. We walked for along time each day. On Friday night we also went to Foley Field to watch a baseball game. We went to the UGA campus bookstore, and it was huge! We left on Saturday at about 1:45. I want to go to Athens again soon.

North Carolina Vacation

I recently went on a trip to North Carolina. It was so fun. I went skiing and tubing. Skiing was hard but fun. We also saw the Biltmore House. It has 250 rooms. My favorite was the library. It had over 5,000 books. When we were tubing, snow started to fall! When we went skiing I saw a lift that went to the peak of the mountain. This was my favorite trip ever!
