My Birthday

I recently turned 9!! My best friend Emme had a sleepover with me. She gave me a diamond necklace which had a D on it. It came with matching earrings. That was during the weekend before my birthday. On my actual birthday, Mom, Dad, my cousin Lexie, Uncle Phillip, Aunt Angel, Grandma Tena, Nana, Grandpa, Kalyn, Grandma Sharon, Grandma Sara and I ate together at Applebee's. My mom and dad got me a Wii Fit, a monogrammed Tervis Tumbler travel cup, three twelve ounce TT cups that had dolphins, a ladybug, and a pink Georgia Bulldog G, but my favorite gift was a Kit Kittredge American Girl doll. I am such a lucky girl.

Athens, Georgia

In March, I went to Athens, Ga. It was so amazingly fun. We saw Sanford Stadium, Stegman Colisseum, in fact our hotel was across from it. We left on a Thursday afternoon (I got signed out) and arrived at about 7:10. On Friday at noon, I saw the UGA gymnasts practice for a competition in California. They were great. My favorite was the uneven bars.
Suzanne Yoculan is the coach. She smiled at me a lot and waved. It was a private practice, but we saw it from an observatory balcony in the gym. Only five people were allowed. We walked for along time each day. On Friday night we also went to Foley Field to watch a baseball game. We went to the UGA campus bookstore, and it was huge! We left on Saturday at about 1:45. I want to go to Athens again soon.

North Carolina Vacation

I recently went on a trip to North Carolina. It was so fun. I went skiing and tubing. Skiing was hard but fun. We also saw the Biltmore House. It has 250 rooms. My favorite was the library. It had over 5,000 books. When we were tubing, snow started to fall! When we went skiing I saw a lift that went to the peak of the mountain. This was my favorite trip ever!

Third Grade

I know it has been a long time since I have blogged so I will try to catch up now. Third grade is awesome. My teacher is Mrs. Mack. I still attend Joseph Martin Elementary. Most of my friends are in my class. My gifted teacher is Mrs. Klein. Gifted is at Joseph Martin too. I go to gifted with the gifted students in my class and from Mrs. Harris' class. We are learning about the volcano Mount Pele. I have one hundred eighty one A.R. points. My favorite book of this year is Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. I have had the most points in my grade every year and I don't plan to lose it this year! Some of my friends switched schools or moved to a different county, like Mecca moved to Columbus, Ga. I'm also the only person in my class who has not gotten in trouble so far this year. I still have straight A's on my report card. This year is going to be great. I will also try to post often.

Catching Up On Stuff

Sorry I haven't written in a long time, but I've been busy. Well, first I'll talk about my Spring Break. Our family went on a cruise to the Cayman Islands and to Mexico!!!!!!!!!! Our boat was called Enchantment of the Seas. It took about 7 hours to get there total. There is a camp for kids called Adventure Ocean. I met a girl a year older than me named Jordan. She lives in Jupiter, Florida. One time when I went there in the evening, the theme was pirate night. We made bandanas, and we went around the whole boat and sang pirate songs and danced. In Mexico,
I bought a recorder and in the Cayman Islands I bought a magnet. I will remember the cruise
forever.

Cassidy's Sleepover

On Friday, I went to my friend Cassidy's house for a sleepover. I went outside with Cassidy until the other people got there. The theme for the sleepover was Hannah Montana (I LOVE HANNAH!) Of course we had cake and ice cream and pizza for supper. It was so much fun. We all stayed up way after midnight. We all did makeovers and I got a manicure and a pedicure (with pink nail polish).
